Named 2025 India as this was the ninth multi-day feeder recorded in False Bay during winter 2025. The name also indicates that this animal had not been previously recorded, or named, prior to winter 2025. An additional encounter on 30. June 2024 off Partridge Point by D. Kidwell has been recorded in iNaturalist. The encounter has not yet been added to Happywhale.
