SEAK-2800 @32118

This whale was struck by a 22m catamaran in Glacier Bay, Alaska on August 31, 2011. It appeared to be a juvenile (small body size but not a calf). Glacier Bay National Park biologists monitored it after the collision as it traveled away from the area. There was an abrasion on its flank, but it was not seen again and its fate was unknown until it was resighted in Hawaii in 2025!
