This whale also has a sighting history in the Gulf of Maine where it has been cataloged by the Gulf of Maine Humpback Whale Catalog at the Center for Coastal Studies as well as the ocean-scale North Atlantic Humpback Whale Catalog at Allied Whale, College of the Atlantic. Sightings displayed here have been matched against these catalogs and will contribute to their long-term work, thanks to a partnership with Happywhale.
